Italy's Under 20 soccer team lost 0-1
against Uruguay in the FIFA U-20 World Cup final on Sunday,
dashing hopes of making history in the Estadio Unico Diego
Armando Maradona stadium in La Plata, Argentina.
It was the Azzurrini's first world final in the under 20 age
group having lost in the semis in 1997 against Argentina and in
2013 against France.
Coach Carmine Nunziata said "we can make history on Sunday"
after the team beat South Korea 2-1 last Thursday to put victory
in its sights.
