Surprise package Atalanta came from
behind to beat Lazio 3-1 on Rome on Sunday and tighten their
grip on fourth place in Serie A, which is good for qualification
for next season's Champions League.
Marco Parolo put the hosts ahead in the early stages, but the
Bergamo side surged back with strikes by Duvan Zapata and
Timothy Castagne and an own goal by Lazio's Wallace.
Atalanta have 62 points with three games to go, three points
more than fifth-placed AS Roma, who were held 1-1 at Genoa.
Juventus, who have already sealed their eighth consecutive
Serie A title, drew 1-1 with city rivals Torino, who are sixth,
on Friday.
Napoli made sure they will finish second with a late comeback
that gave them a 2-1 win over Cagliari.
Inter, however, risk losing third place after a 0-0 draw at
Udinese which leaves them just one point ahead of Atalanta.
Seventh-placed AC Milan can pull level on points with Roma if
they end a spell of poor form by beating Bologna at home later
on Monday.
