Dutchman Steven Kruijswijk retained the leader's pink jersey after the 17th stage of the Giro d'Italia Wednesday, a 196-km run from Molveno to Cassano d'Adda, won by Germany's Roger Kluge.
Pre-race favourite Vincenzo 'the Shark' Nibali, who has
dropped 4'43" off the lead, will have a series of clinical tests
tomorrow morning to see what may be behind his disappointing
performance.
