The Italian Ambassador to Pakistan, Marilina Armellin, together with the Italian Consul in Karachi, Fabriezio Bielli, visited the state textile unit 'Gadoon textile Mill' owned by the 'Yunus Brithers group' . Pakistan's most important textile industry is engaged in spinning fibres. Its production facilities have the capacity to spin and process all categories of cotton and synthetic fibres. The industry strictly adheres to its mission and commitment to environmental sustainability and is committed to the Sustainable Development Goals with best practices.
Accompanying the ambassador and the consul on the tour of the company's facilities was the group's president Sohail Tabba, who showed the modern Italian technologies and machinery used in the plant, which is worth around EUR 500 million and is a hallmark of bilateral Italy-Pakistan relations.
