The head of the Mattei Plan for Confindustria and President of Duferco, Antonio Gozzi, accompanied by the Italian Ambassador to Tunisia, Alessandro Prunas, met with the Minister of Economy and Planning, Samir Abdelhafidh, and the Minister of Industry, Mines and Energy, Fatma Thabet. This was announced by the Italian Diplomatic Representation on its social channels, pointing out that "in the wake of the Mattei Plan, Italy and Tunisia are working to further strengthen the Italian-Tunisian economic partnership". The meeting with the Minister of Industry "focused on ways to attract Italian investment in Tunisia, particularly in the renewable energy sector, help Tunisia achieve its energy security and diversify its energy sources by creating new jobs," reads a statement from the Tunisian ministry. Antonio Gozzi , President of Federacciai and Advisor to Federcostruzioni, is responsible for the Mattei Plan for Confindustria Nazionale. The Duferco group is active in the steel, renewable energy and maritime transport sectors. (ANSA)
