In Budapest, on the occasion of the visit to Hungary by the Head of the Civil Protection Department, Fabio Ciciliano, a conference entitled 'The Italian Civil Protection System: safeguarding against environmental risks and securing the artistic and cultural heritage' will be held on 13 March. The meeting will provide an in-depth look at the Civil Protection's role in mitigating environmental risks and safeguarding the cultural heritage, discussing experiences in emergency management and focusing on safeguarding cultural heritage. The conference will be opened by the director of the Italian Cultural Institute, Gabriele La Posta, followed by the speech of the Italian Ambassador to Hungary, Manuel Jacoangeli. After the report by the Deputy Director General of the Hungarian Civil Protection, Krisztián Erdélyi, the conclusions entrusted to Fabio Ciciliano will follow.
