2025 promises to be a year full of cultural events and initiatives for the Italian-Ecuadorian community in Quito and other major cities in the Andean country. The Italian Embassy has a calendar of unmissable events as part of the celebrations for the 125th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Italy and Ecuador.
It began on 31 January in the prestigious Casa de la Musica. The concert 'Fantasia Italiana', staged by the National Symphony Orchestra of Ecuador, featured musician Gianfranco Bortolato, a member of the Orchestra of the Teatro dell'Opera in Rome, considered one of the best oboists on the Italian scene.
Every year, the Embassy also promotes musical growth paths for the younger Ecuadorian generations, who look to our country as a leading destination for training in facilities of excellence. Thanks to numerous masterclasses by Italian artists, the aim is to discover young Ecuadorian talents who can strengthen the ties between Italy and Ecuador, fostering mobility and professional and educational exchanges for the benefit of the creative industries.
