The Italian Ambassador to Serbia, Luca Gori, met today with the Serbian Minister of Education, Slavica Djukic Dejanovic. The meeting provided an opportunity to review inter-university cooperation between the two countries, a sector in which there is a strong mutual desire to develop new joint projects.
"Serbia and the Balkans," Gori noted, "represent a priority in the internationalisation strategy of Italian higher education, as pointed out by the Deputy Prime Minister, Antonio Tajani, and the Minister of University and Research, Anna Maria Bernini. "The topic - added the ambassador - will also be discussed at the Forum for Scientific Cooperation between Italy and Serbia to be held in Trieste on 28 November".
