(by Patrizia Vacalebri) The unisex concept of Casamadre, the brand that together with Arthur Arbesser and Louis Leeman is showing at the Pitti Italics section of the Florentine fashion jamboree, works through the use of the same fabrics making up its capsule of 20 outfits, presented Wednesday at the former Dogana customs house space, rather than through common forms of clothing for him and her.
Fabrics of great value, such as precious wool, light cottons, printed silk and fil coupé are deployed by the duo of designers who sign the Casamadre brand, Alessia Crea and David Parisi, from the Lanificio F.lli Cerruti, with the precious help of Signor Nino.
Starting point for the show is a voyage, where man and woman embrace the idea of a chic style, not screaming out loud, which does not confuse ideas.
The sea and the wind are there in the palate of colours: sky blue, deep blue, petrol, cloud gray, red bordeaux, wrinkle white.
The style is fluid, the masculine trousers have the crotch low though pinstriped; her trousers are ample and flutter like an evening skirt.
