Three Italian films are in
competition in this year's edition of the Rome Film Festival,
which takes place at Auditorium - Parco della Musica from
October 18-29, the organisers announced on Friday.
They are Mi fanno male i capelli (My hair hurts) by Roberta
Torre, starring Alba Rohrwacher and Filippo Timi; Holiday by
Edoardo Gabbriellini; and Paola Cortellesi's directorial debut
C'è ancora domani (There's still tomorrow) with Valerio
Mastandrea, Emanuela Fanelli, Giorgio Colangeli and Vinicio
Marchioni.
In all 18 international films are in the running in the 18th
edition of the festival organised by Fondazione Cinema per Roma.
The programme will open with prolific Turkish-Italian director
Ferzan Özpetek's latest offering, Nuovo Olimpo (New Olympus)
starring Damiano Gavino and Andrea Di Luigi.
