A complaint by an Italian pro-life
group after rappers Fedez and Rosa Chemical kissed at the
Sanremo Song Festival earlier this month was shelved Thursday.
The Pro Vita & Famiglia association accused the pair of "conduct
of an unprecedented gravity on live TV" by exchanging a long and
passionate French kiss.
The association spoke of "repulsion" and "vulgarity".
Prosecutors dropped the complaint saying there were no grounds
for prosecution.
Another rapper, Blanco, is still facing possible legal action
for destroying public property in a flower-wrecking temper
tantrum after problems with his sound feed at the fest.
