Pirelli has made a break with
the past with the 2016 edition of its famous calendar, the
Italian tyre manufacturer said Monday.
The next Pirelli calendar will feature black-and-white
photos of 13 successful women shot by veteran US portrait
photographer Annie Leibovitz.
The news is that the models are mostly clothed.
The calendar, shot in New York, features Iranian artist
Shirin Neshat, Japanese artist and singer-songwriter Yoko Ono,
punk poet queen Patti Smith, and tennis legend Serena Williams,
among others.
