Satoru Iwata, president of video
game giant Nintendo, died on Monday at age 55 of a bile duct
tumor.
Iwata, considered the father of Nintendo consoles Wii and
DS, became head of the company in 2002 and led it back to
profitability.
"He didn't create just technology, he gave life to an
entire culture," said industry expert Nobuyuki Hayashi in
Bloomberg.
