Two brothers aged 105 and 102 living
in the Sardinian area among the five blue zones of the world
with the most ultra-centenarians now boast four university
degrees between the pair of them.
The elder, Sebastiano Maccioni, who turns 106 in November, is a
maths and engineering graduate while his brother Antonio has
degrees in chemistry and pharmacy.
"I went down to Cagliari for the birthday of my little brother,
as I've always called him," said Sebastiano at his home in the
central town of Nuoro.
"We'll all be together again for Easter, all our kids and
grandkids in Cagliari".
