Milan prosecutors said Monday that
eight people are under investigation in relation to millions of
assets Gucci 'Black Widow' Patrizia Reggiani inherited from her
mother Silvana Barbieri.
Reggiani, who hired a hitman to murder her ex-husband Maurizio
Gucci and served 18 years in jail, was among the eight to get
notification that the investigation had been wrapped up.
This step usually comes before prosecutors request indictments.
The suspects are accused of taking advantage of the
incapacitated, misappropriation, theft and corruption.
A lawyer who was formerly Reggiani's court-appointed guardian
and a former cell mate are among the suspects too.
Barbieri died in 2019.
The probe stemmed from a complaint filed by Allegra Gucci, one
of the two daughters of Reggiani and Maurizio Gucci.
