Michelin-starred chefs are to
prepare a Christmas meal for inmates at five prisons in Italy
and their families on December 23, it emerged on Monday.
Heinz Beck, Filippo La Mantia, Carmine Giovinazzo, Marco
Moroni and Giampiero Colli will offer their skills respectively
to prisoners at Rebibbia female prison in Rome, Opera in Milan,
Sant'Anna in Modena, Casal del Marmo juvenile prison in Rome,
and Pagliarelli in Palermo.
They will be assisted by well-known personalities from the
arts and entertainment worlds, including showgirl and presenter
Lorella Cuccarini, singer-songwriters Edoardo Bennato and Luca
Barbarossa and actress and producer Valeria Marini.
The initiative is being promoted by Prison Fellowship
Italia non-profit and the charismatic Renewal in the Holy Spirit
movement.
