The 63-year-old Sicilian ex hitman
who killed fashion king Maurizio Gucci in 1995 on the orders of
his ex wife and 'Black Widow' Patrizia Reggiani died late on
Tuesday a week after shot his 37-year-old son in the face and
seriously injured him during a family row before turning the gun
on himself in his new home near Pisa, sources said.
Benedetto Ceraulo had been in hospital in Pisa since the
shooting.
Investigators believe the row was triggered by a scratch on
Ceraulo's car caused by the son.
The former hitman shot dead Maurizio Gucci on March 27, 1995, a
murder for which Reggiani served 18 years in jail until October
2016.
