Lazio got through to the
quarter-finals of the Europa League Thursday night while Roma
crashed out.
The Biancelesti drew 1-1 with Viktoria Plzen at the Olimpico to
take a 3-2 aggregate win over the Czechs.
The goal came from 30-year-old Italy centre-back Alessio
Romagnoli.
Roma, however, lost 4-3 to Atletico Bilbao in Spain after a
Nico Williams show.
Meanwhile Fiorentina qualified for the Conference League
quarters by beating Panathinaikos by 3-1 for a 4-3 aggregate win
over the Greeks.
