Another 14 children from Gaza have
arrived in Italy for treatment at seven Italian hospitals,
Health Minister Orazio Schillaci said Monday.
The kids will be treated at the Santobono Hospital in Naples,
the Meyer in Florence, the Gaslini in Genoa, the Sant'Andrea in
Rome, the Niguarda in Milan, the Rizzoli in Bologna and the
Bambino Gesù in Rome, he said.
"Italy's commitment to treating and assisting Gazan children is
continuing," Schillaci said.
The three children at Rome's Vatican-owned Bambino Gesù were
said to be in stable condition Monday, while one of the two at
the Meyer in Florence had suffered shrapnel wounds.
