The justice ministry's general
inspectorate has started monitoring 13 public prosecutors'
offices in relation to their communication concerning criminal
proceedings, Justice Undersecretary Andrea Delmastro told the
Lower House on Tuesday.
The public prosecutors' offices being monitored are Avellino,
Brescia, Cagliari, Ferrara, Catanzaro, Frosinone, Livorno,
Rimini, Rovigo, Tempio Pausania, Vercelli, Latina and Turin,
added Delmastro in answer to a question from centrist opposition
party Azione lawmaker Enrico Costa.
