Claudio Ranieri's Cagliari came back from 3-0 down to beat Frosinone 4-3 at home on Sunday, with captain Leonardo Pavoletti scoring twice in stoppage time.
The visitors were cruising after a first-half double by Matias Soule and a goal after the break by Marco Brescianini.
Gaetano Oristanio scored on 72 minutes to start the comeback and Antoine Makoumbou closed the gap further four minutes later before Pavoletti's late heroics gave the Sardinians all of the spoils.
Promoted Cagliari's first win of the season gives them six points from 10 games, two more than bottom side Salernitana, who lost 1-0 to Genoa on Friday.
Fellow strugglers Udinese, under new coach Gabriele Cioffi after they sacked Andrea Sottil, earned a 1-1 draw at mid-table Monza, with Lorenzo Lucca's second-half equalizer cancelling out Andrea Colpani's opener for the hosts.
Udinese are third-from-bottom with seven points.
