The body of an 11-year-old Senegalese
girl who went missing in Lake Como Tuesday was recovered by
divers Wednesday.
The girl, who lived with her family at Bulciago near Lecco,
disappeared after diving into the northern Italian lake with
friends.
She got into difficulty and went under before currents dragged
her further into the lake.
The tragedy happened at Mandello del Lario, close to the mouth
of the mountain creek Meria.
