The Florida head teacher who was
sacked after parents said Michelangelo's David shown to an art
history class was pornographic will meet Florence Mayor Dario
Nardella and local cultural officials on Saturday in the Tuscan
capital.
Hope Carrasquilla, former principal of Tallahassee Classical
School, will meet Nardella, Friends of Florence President
Simonetta Brandolini D'Adda, and drawing academy President
Cristina Acidini.
"Confusing art with pornography," said Nardella Monday, "is
