The government on Wednesday announced the new or confirmed heads of four of the Big Five public-sector groups, oil giant Eni, electricity titan Enel, aerospace and defence colossus Leonardo, and Italian post office Poste Italiane, leaving power grid operator Terna to Thursday.
Claudio Descalzi remains CEO of Eni, while Giuseppe Zafarana takes over as chairman, the economy ministry said.
At Enel, Flavio Cattaneo is the new CEO and Paolo Scaroni is the new chairman.
Former minister Roberto Cingolani is the new CEO of Leonardo, while Stefano Pontecorvo takes over as chairman.
Matteo Del Fante is confirmed as CEO of Poste, while the chairman is Silvia Rovere.
