An Italian will be among the crew that will man the future Lunar Gateway space station on its moon orbit, between 2025 and 2030, Italian Space Agency (ASI) sources said after the ministerial conference of the European Space Agency (ESA) in Paris Wednesday.
It will be one of Italy's two current astronauts, Samantha
Cristoforetti or Luca Parmitano, the sources said.
