Alpine skier Federica Brignone won Italy's fourth medal of the Beijing Winter Olympics on Monday when she took silver in the giant slalom.
The 31-year-old from Milan came in second to Sweden's Sara Hector.
It is the Azzurri's third silver after the ones won by the women's short track speed skating team and by Francesca Lollobrigida in the women's 3000 metres speed skating.
Dominik Fischnaller took bronze in the men's singles luge.
