Italy coach Roberto Mancini has said his men must not let anxiety get the better of them during Monday's crunch World Cup qualifier against Northern Ireland in Belfast.
The European champions' place at next year's World Cup is still not secure after Friday's 1-1 draw with second-placed Switzerland in Rome.
The Azzurri and Switzerland both have 15 points, but Mancini's men are top of Group B on goal difference before the final game.
So Italy need to match the result Switzerland achieve against Bulgaria to go through directly to the World Cup in Qatar as group winners.
If they finish second, they will face a playoff.
"We suffered a little anxiety against Switzerland," Mancini, who has had a series of injury setbacks that have deprived him of captain Giorgio Chiellini and forward Ciro Immobile, among others, told RAI television.
"There will be pressure against Northern Ireland but we must avoid anxiety".
