Tax police on Tuesday raided Milan's Don Gnocchi care home as part of a series of probes into hundreds of deaths in Lombard care homes including the Pio Albergo Trivulzio, sources said.
In the Don Gnocchi probe, General Manager Dennis Troisi, Health Director Federica Tartarone and Fabrizio Giunco, director of the socio-health medical services, are under investigation for allegedly causing an epidemic and culpable manslaughter.
Also under investigation is Papa Wall Ndiaye, president of AMPAST, a cooperative featuring the staff of the facility.
