A calf strain has knocked Juve
defender Giorgio Chiellini out of Italy's World Cup qualifier
with Macedonia in Skopje Sunday, Azzurri sources said Friday.
The exact extent of the injury and how long Chiellini will
be out have not yet been established.
It was not clear if a replacement would be drafted in or
coach Giampiero Ventura would make do with the replacement
defenders he has.
Venura has already lost Milan midfielder Riccardo Montolivo
to an ACL rupture.
