Italian filmmaker Giuseppe
Tornatore on March 30 will start filming his new movie The
Correspondence in the north-western Piedmont region.
The film will star Jeremy Irons and Olga Kurylenko.
The filmmaker has revealed few details about his new work,
which is produced by Arturo Paglia and Isabella Cocuzza - like
his last movie, The Best Offer, released in 2013.
The movie should also be filmed in England and Scotland.
The soundtrack is by composer Ennio Moricone, with whom the
Sicilian filmmaker has often collaborated, including the 1988
movie Nuovo Cinema Paradiso for which he won an Oscar.
The Correspondence will reportedly focus on the story of a
university student who also works as a stuntwoman and her
relationship with her astrophysics professor who tries to help
her deal with an obsession for risk and with her sense of guilt.
