Over 100 satellites are envisaged for
a new Italian constellation for telecommunications aimed at
security and defense, according to a feasibility plan delivered
by the Italian Space Agency (ASI) to the Business and Made in
Italy Ministry Friday.
As for the implementation time frame, at least five years are
expected, said the plan, even if a more precise definition can
only be made once the consultations with the companies involved
have been concluded, sources said.
