Iran's Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, said that Israel cannot dictate what Iran should or should not do, after Israeli Prime Minister, Banjamin Netanyahu, declared yesterday that Tehran "cannot have nuclear weapons" and that the Islamic Republic must "demolish its nuclear infrastructure", while negotiations between Tehran and Washington are ongoing. "Israel's fantasy that it can dictate what Iran can or cannot do is something so far removed from reality that it hardly merits a response. What is striking, however, is the brazenness with which Netanyahu is now dictating what (US) President Donald) Trump can and cannot do in his diplomacy with Iran," Araghchi wrote in a message on X, accusing Israel of presenting the ongoing Washington negotiations as an attempt to achieve a pact similar to the 2015 pact known as Jcpoa. "Many Iranians no longer believe that Jcpoa is sufficient. They want tangible dividends," Araghchi said. "There is no military option, let alone a military solution. Any blow will be immediately reciprocated," concluded the head of Tehran's diplomacy.
