Deputy Premier and Transport Minister
Matteo Salvini, the leader of the League party, said on Saturday
that Elon Musk was right and only far-right political party
Alternative for Germany (AfD) could save Germany, writing on
social media on the eve of national elections in the country
scheduled Sunday and after a 19-year-old Syrian man was arrested
for allegedly stabbing a Spanish tourist at Berlin's Holocaust
Memorial on Friday.
"Blood and terror in Berlin, again perpetrated by an immigrant",
he wrote.
"After years of hosting without limits and fake tolerance,
Europe cannot ignore the mortal dangers brought by mass
immigration as said by Donald Trump and JD Vance", said Salvini.
"Meanwhile tomorrow, luckily for them, the Germans vote and can
change.
"Elon Musk is right: only AfD can save Germany", wrote Salvini,
referring to the support for the German far-right party
repeatedly voiced by the world's richest man, who is serving as
Administrator of the Department of Government Efficiency in US
President Donald Trump's second administration.
