An elderly married couple were found
dead in their home in Montignoso, in the Tuscan province of
Massa Carrara, on Monday in what investigators suspect is a case
of homicide suicide, sources said.
Carabinieri arrived at the crime scene after neighbours sounded
the alarm.
Italy has been hit by an alarming spate of femicides, with many
cases of women being murdered, frequently by their former or
past partners.
