United States President Donald Trump
has described St Peter's Basilica as "the nicest office I've
ever seen" after meeting Ukraine's Volodymyr Zelensky there
before Pope Francis's funeral on Saturday.
"It's a beautiful, beautiful scene," he told reporters in New
Jersey on Sunday.
Trump added that he believed Zelensky was "calmer" and wanted an
agreement to end the war sparked by the Russian invasion.
He said he thought the Ukrainian president was ready to give up
Kyiv's claim to Crimea.
