A draft government motion unveiled
Tuesday called for a multinational United Nations peacekeeping
force in Ukraine once a peace deal is obtained.
The centre right filed a motion on European rearmament and
support for Ukraine that will be voted on next week together
with the texts filed by the opposition.
The six-point draft states: the government commits to "foster,
following the truce and the signing of a peace agreement between
the Russian Federation and Ukraine, the creation of a
multinational force under the aegis of the United Nations,
subject to a resolution of the Security Council, in order to
guarantee a stable, shared and irreversible peace process".
