A group of Italian animal rights
activists on Tuesday unfurled a banner saying "Jennifer Lopez Go
Home" outside the headquarters at Dossobuono near Verona of the
Calzedonia underwear giant which controls the Intimissimi
lingerie brand whose 2023 advertising campaign the Hollywood
star is currently fronting.
The activists accused the 53-year-old American actress, dancer
and singer of having a fondness for furs.
The group, Centopercento Animalisti ('100% Animal Rights
Activists") said J-Lo, whose renewed romance with fellow star
Ben Affleck has garnered headlines worldwide, was an unrepentant
wearer of fur coats and other clothing made from animal fur.
